Q: How to move android messages to iphone

i just got a new iPhone today. How do I move my sms messages from my android to the iPhone. I did find some tips but all involv either buying software or resetting the phone. I cannot reset the phone because it has apps for work. Please tell me there is some way to move them. I have about 15 years of messages

To get possibly more relevant answers, please define "messages"

SMS? WhatsApp?

Apple's tools do not specify messages as moveable in any of their documentation. Kappy's link is for an app that will migrate data, but does not mention messages.

SSorry I should have said. I was to copy sms messages I did see a few suggestions for copying to email. I don't like that, id like them properly in messages

TThe move to iOS app requires a reset of the iPhone. I cannot do this because I have apps for word which would be wiped
