I preordered my iphone 7 plus 128gb black at launch on apple.com. The order went through and I got an email confirmation. BUT my credit card was not charged there is not even a pending amount.. Is this normal? Does Apple wait to charge the card until the phone ships? Please if someone used a CC to order let me know if they hit your card. Thanks
Yes, that's how it is typically. My CC has not yet been charged too. Rest assured - your CC will be charged and your iPhone will arrive before or on time (The only time my iPhone was delayed was due to a weather condition)
You will be charged only when a waybill has been generated and shipment is immanent.
Hi I preordered 2 iPhone 7 plus phones at around 12:30 a.m. my account on my credit card stop the charges they thought they were fraud there was a total of 5 charges and then there was a credit of three was on the phone for many many hours with Apple trying to find out what was going on now the charges are all gone I call the Apple again and they told me that they will not charge until the phones are shipped they told me my order was fine
when it ships, that is when its charged. means on the way and like myself, less in acct.
