Q: How come some of my screens are black when I call certain people the screen is black I can see speaker , mute , FaceTime but everything in th background is black. Other calls the same call screen is blue?

I'm an iPhone 6 I have upgraded to the 9.31 calling certain people why is the background all black for some people and blue for others I can still see the mute button the speaker button the FaceTime.and the + to add a call? Anybody know what this means

Are you saying the screen is completely black? If so, you may have a finger over the proximity sensor on the top front.

Or do you just mean that the background color behind the buttons is different depending on the person? If someone calls you and they have a contact photo, the background, once your on the call is going to be the colors in the photo as I recall.
