Q: Printer Bogarts WiFi signal

My iphone frequently locks on to my wireless printer signal, I have to manually reacquire the verizon jetpack signal.  Is this common, and is there a fix?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.1, 64G

    I'm assuming that you don't have a WiFi network in your home, or wherever it is you're using the phone and printer. The only real "fix" in that case is to turn off the printer when you're not using it or turn off the WiFi.

     

    I'm curious as to why you would be using a cellular-WiFi hotspot for data when your phone has a the capability to use its own cellular data connection.
