Q: How do I delete multiple episodes of podcasts on my iPad mini?

I'm using the native app and it seems that I can only delete one episode at a time. It didn't used to be this way but the app was updated and now it's quite tedious to delete an episode. For one thing, you have to select delete TWICE, and for another you cannot mark, say, ten podcast episodes and delete them all simultaneously. ???

In the podcast Episode view, click on Edit, then tap on the selection circle that appears. Whatever action you choose after that, will apply to all selections.

Or is that not working for you?

OK, that worked. Any clues on how to download podcasts simultaneously? It doesn't seem to be an option. Thank you so much for helping me w/ that!

Not sure what you mean, but my approach is to subscribe to a podcast and leave the iDevice plugged into a charger and connected to my Wi-Fi network overnight. When I wake up in the morning, the d vice is fully charged, synced, apps have been updated and podcast episodes have been downloaded.

Just note that most podcast producers seem to be posting new episodes during the day. This means that you might see new episodes available for manual download, before the automatic over-night download kicks in.
