I'm sorry, but what does "rare" mean in this sentence? If you are having troubles with a charger and the phone it came with is still under warranty, then the device would be under warranty. It would have to be examined by Apple, they make the determinations. If you purchased the charger separately, then it would have to be less than 1 year old, and the same examination would apply. I hope that is what you are referring to.

Consider this scenario:


"I have a Toyota will I be able to go to the Toyota dealer and trade it for a new one?"


Probably, but if my Toyota is from the 1960s I should not expect a whole lot of trade-in value for it 🙂
