Q: MacBook Pro takes a long time to power on

I'm having a issue with my 2015 MacBook Pro.  When the laptop is powered off and I press the power button, it takes about 2-3 minutes before I hear the chime and the screen comes on.  Also, when the laptop is asleep, I have to completely power it off and back on in order for me to use the laptop.  I can restart the laptop and it comes back on just fine.  When the laptop is on, everything runs fine.  It's only when the laptop is put to sleep or powered off.  I've tried the following to troubleshoot this issue:

-Reset the SMC

-Reset the NVRAM

-Reinstalled the OS (Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6)

-Ran the Disk Utility and it stated the SSD is fine.

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue?  I've read that replacing the SSD could fix the problem but wanted to check here before I decide to order the part.

Thanks

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
