My SSD seems to have vanished!

I really appreciate any help on this.

I was watching a YouTube video when my Mac decided to freeze. I did a force-shutdown and tried to turn it back on, and got the horrible folder with a question mark.

Of course I tried resetting NVRAM/SMC, and that didn't work, so I went to internet recovery.

Disk utility in recovery doesn't show me any drive other than the internet recovery image. Nothing about my actual drive.. Also, I don't know if that's relevant, but `diskutil list` shows me 11 other disks that are about 500 kb a piece, all named untitled.

Does that mean my ssd somehow got disconnected? Or maybe just fried? Are there any troubleshooting steps I should take?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
