Q: Hi everyone! How to remove Links Sponsored by Taboola?

Hi everyone!

My Mac is a OSX 10.8.5 and I am unable to remove Taboola, probably (I´m not sure) an adware or malware. Someone help me!

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Very possible it's adware or malware ...

You can use the Malwarebytes free utility to remove it.

Click here > https://www.malwarebytes.com

Then click Download.

One comment... Taboola ads are completely normal on many websites. If you are trying to get rid of ads that are completely normal, you'll need an ad blocker.

On the other hand, if you are seeing Taboola ads on a site where they don't belong, it may be adware, as Carolyn indicates.

Thank you both. In fact I have seen Taboola on sites that did not used to see. And the biggest problem has been the performance of my browsers, which are extremely slow. I had tried Malwarebytes and nothing worked. I do not know what to do.
