Sep 9, 2016 5:58 PM in response to michexpby Diana.McCall,★HelpfulHi. You can use the AirPlay icon in the top menu bar to mirror your screen or to extend the desktop to a second display. But the resolution is not particularly good and response may be slow for interaction. See Use AirPlay to display video from your Mac on an HDTV - Apple Support for how to use AirPlay. Why do you want to do this?

Sep 9, 2016 6:00 PM in response to Diana.McCallby michexp,Thanks Diana. Because I have a small MacBook Air I am hoping to bring it up on my larger TV screen when I am doing detailed work in Microsoft Word to make it easier to see. I have read that I could also get a cable to connect to the HDMI port but as my TV is some metres away from my desk I am wondering if I can use Airplay through Apple TV to mirror whatever is on my Macbook screen to my TV monitor?
