Q: Import from a Canon XA-10

Hi, I'm at a loss. I have a "new to me" Canon XA-10 camera. Apparently it shoots in AVCHD (I think that's what I remember). Anyhow, I just got back from shooting a h.s. football game and the coaches want it uploaded to a program they're all using called HUDL. In addition, I need to upload it to a "BOX" site. Normally with my previous canon I'd insert the memory card, and HUDL and FCP-X would read it. Well...that doesn't happen with this new camera. I know that I recorded because as I'm typing, it is uploading video clips to HUDL. However, FCP-X doesn't "see" anything on the memory card. I'm at a loss and need your help quickly. These coaches are un-relenting and they want t see their games, whether they won or lost, ASAP. It's later here in NY, but I know if I can't upload this game to Box by 10:00 tomorrow morning, my phone will start to ring.

Please, someone, or everyone, guide me as to how I can import my game clips into FCPX so I can upload for the coaches...

cheers,

Jack

FCPX shouldn't have any issues with it.  Try this, create a folder with the name "Camera Card Archive".  Copy the entire contents of the camera card to it, keeping all folders and hierarchies in tact.  Does FCPX see that?
