Q: iPhone 6S Noise Canceling

I have had significant issues with my 6S in that callers cannot hear me.  No difference whether it's an inbound or outbound call, but it is intermittent.  No difference whether on the handset or wired headphones.  ATT reset the phone, and Apple phone support saw no issues and directed me to the store.  Store ran assessment and determined phone needed to be reset.  Phone was reset and same problem resurfaced (whether phone restored from cloud or set up as a new phone).  Back to apple store and they continued to have no solutions, other than to replace the device.  Same problem resurfaced.  Thanks to forums, I found the solution -- turned off noise cancelling function. 

 

Disappointing, however, that I cannot use the function, or should be unable to use it. 

 

Any workaround or software fixes out there that will allow me to use the function without preventing the problem of people not being able to hear me?
