Q: Show Multiple Artists At Different Points During One Track

Apologies in advance if this has already been answered, I have scoured but to no avail.

I have a few mix tapes on my iTunes. I would like to be able to show multiple artists in one track, at different stages, scrolling on the iTunes window/mini player.

So the one track mix will start playing, with the song name that I have typed showing in the upper part of the view window (this doesn't change). Then, in the one track mix the song will change and I would like the album name to scroll and show the current song name, then scroll back to the album name. I would like this to happen every time a new song plays during the mix.

The reason why I ask this is because I've seen it happen. I downloaded Flight Facilities Decade Mix and this is exactly what happened. The one track would play, and every time the song changed within the one track, the song name would scroll in the view window in place of the album name.

I have viewed the info window on the FF mix and can't see anything different than my edits with other songs.

So, does anyone have the faintest idea how to do this?

Thanks in advance

I would have said no, because it isn't possible to make this kind of edit in iTunes, however what you are describing sounds like the chapter information that can be created with audiobook or podcast editing software. I was hoping Join Together might be an option, but it won't work if the album already exists as a single track. There may well be other software that can add chapters after the fact but you'll need to track it down.
