Q: Access phone from blackscreen

Hi folks

I have an iPhone 5 I've dropped. The screen has gone black so I can't access it to reset the harddrive to factory settings before selling/disposing of. Any ideas how to do this, please?

connect the iphone to itunes on your computer there you can reset the phone back too its original factory settings like the old days when iphone first came out and had to do all upgrades thru the itunes store it still works. thanx for your question
