Hi
To work as a camera remote viewfinder and shutter for your iPhone, your Apple Watch needs to be connected via Bluetooth with your iPhone (normal range is about 33 feet / 10m, but may vary).
- To check that Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone:
- Open Control Centre (by swiping up from the bottom edge of the Home screen) or go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- To check the status of your watch's connection to your iPhone:
- When viewing the time on your watch face, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen > swipe left / right to the Settings Glance, which will state either Connected or Disconnected. Connected and a green phone symbol at the upper-right corner shows that watch is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
If the feature is not working as expected, it may help to restart both your iPhone and your watch:
- Close all open apps on your iPhone:
- Double-click the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview to close it.
- Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first;
