Q: quicktime player control

when I press the arrow key on the left side of the keyboard while I'm watching movies on QuickTime player, does it supposed to rewind or skip few seconds of the video? because it doesnt work on my macbook air that i just bought. please help meee

    Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

     

    If I understand correctly, you are wanting to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to control the playback within QuickTime.  Using keyboard shortcuts can be really handy and I will be happy to offer some help.

     

    According to the QuickTime Player Help, the left arrow on the Keyboard should stop the playback and go back one frame.  You can find all the keyboard shortcuts here:
