Q: Virus

I think I have a virus. I found a "Letter" from "jhonny appleseed" to "Kate" and I also found strings code and other strange looking files. I tried to delete a number of these files but they won't delete the just reappear. I dont know if this is related but I also cant open chrome beacuse it keeps crashing and firefox wont load any pages.

There are no viruses that affect OS X *yet.*  What you probably have is malware.  Suggest that you download  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac

The letter to Kate is a text sample, nothing to do with malware. It appeared in one of Apple's Think Different ad campaigns a few years ago.

Plenty of OS X files either can't be deleted (system files) or get recreated almost immediately (caches). The most common reason for the browser issues you describe is not 'viruses' but third-party utilities that claim to clean or protect your Mac. In fact, they do neither and are typically harmful.
