Q: resize cells in a ratio

I am working on a MacBook Pro OS 10.11.6 in Numbers 3.6.2. I want to create a chart that has 3:2 ratio cells. Is there a way to do this?

A:

select all cells of the table, then open the Table formatter and set the dimensions of the cells as shown for the row height and column width. You will have to select the values so they have the ratio you want.

In numbers, a cell is the basic unit of a table (cell A1 is highlighted below):

In the context of your description I am not certain what you mean. Can you provide an example of what you are trying to get Numbers to do?

Sorry, I realized I didn't explain myself well. I want to lock in a ratio. For example, if I lock in the cell ratio of 3:2 and I increase the cell width to .6, the height would then automatically go to .4 maintaining the 3:2 ratio without me having to do the math and adjust the numbers manually. I hope that makes sense.

I should have also included that I want to set this ratio for the whole table so that all the cells behave this way.

I Was afraid of that. I was hoping I could lock the ratio like you do with pictures. Lazy me just didn't want to do the math every time. Thanks for your help.
