Q: Personal Picture Folders Scrambled in 9.3.2 and beyond

This is more to report a problem since I found a work-around for it.

I use "personal" picture folders that I create on my Windows 10 laptop. I have iTunes pointed to a folder called "4iphone", and under that I create my personal folders, such as "contacts" and "family" which holds pictures I put in there. I have about 20 of these folders.

After updating to 9.3.2, the contents of the folders were all screwed up -- the wrong pictures in the wrong folders -- so I went back to 9.3.1.

I was going to wait on iOS 10, but due to trying to solve another problem I went ahead and updated to 9.3.5. First thing I did was check my picture folders and, whew, they were OK. Or so I thought until I went looking for something at the bottom of the list of folders, and then I saw things all screwed up again.

NOW, this is the part I thought support might be interested in.

I suddenly realized that these "screwed up" folders had names that wasn't under my "4iphone" Windows folder, but for my "4me" Windows folder. Apparently, iTunes was only reading the first position of the file name. (I only have the two folders starting with the number 4.) The pictures inside these folders came, apparently randomly, from my "4iphone" folders -- only the folder names came from the "4me" folder.

WORK-AROUND The work around was very easy. I just renamed my "4iphone" folder to "@iphone" since I don't have any other folders starting with @. Now my personal picture folders are all correct on my iPhone 5.

Just thought you might want to know to try to fix the problem.

iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.5
