Q: Music download issue- songs do not play all the way through

I am having a problem with playback on songs I legally download from music sites on the internet such as Daytrotter, e-music, and the like.  It seems when I go to play back most of these downloads (although not all), they stop playing at some point in the song and then skip to the next song.  The entire song may be 4:32, but it will stop at 1:27 for example.  I will note that they do not all stop at the same point in the song and some can stop after a couple of seconds while others play almost all the way through.  The only fix I have found is taking the file and converting it using Quicktime to an ACC file.  This will allow the song to play all the way through without any issues.  While this is a fix and would be fine if I downloaded a song or two a week, I buy a ton of music and I end up spending hours re-doing all my songs.  (They need to be relabeled and artwork added).  I have tried converting directly to ACC, but this only converts the portion of the song up to the point of what I will call corruption.  Has anyone experienced this problem and have a fix?
