Print from iPad

Instead of considering the iPad's real estate ("partial page") when determining what gets printed, it would be much better to think in terms of the application you are trying to print from.

For example, if you're trying to print one or more photos from a group of photos displayed on an iPad's screen, then yes, there's a way to do that. Or if you're trying to print a note, or a Safari page, yes, you can do that as well.

You could then paste the clipboard into, say, a new note (using the Notes app) and then print from there.
