Q: Why are grab screen captures yellow on iMac

Can you post a screenshot?

I see the photo of the cat looks yellowish/orangish. I was hoping you would post an actually screen shot here rather than one that was uploaded somewhere. You can do that by staring a message and click on the camera icon and selecting a screenshot.

Have you modified the color profile for the display? Also do the pages of this forum look white?

In case I misunderstood, if you mean pictures taken with the built-in camera, the color can vary depending on the type of lighting, the amount of lighting, etc. You would have to correct the captured image in a graphics program if in fact that's what you meant.
