Q: Different external monitors, different configuration
I have a MBP that moves, in different places the external monitors are in different positions/orientations.
I can setup the monitor configuration for any one of them, but while I can see that macOS knows the difference between the monitors (serial numbers are known and different), every time I change locations I need to re-setup the monitor positions and, more annoying, the orientation. It is nice having two monitors, one horizontal and one vertical as they have different uses. As it is I can not switch between the two easily.
The setup is built for my other mbp which has two monitor ports, so can use both at the same time, but I have an older mac with just one external port and switching is just too much pain.
Is there any way to script changing the setup based on what serial number monitor is connected? orientation is the most important as I can just deal with the relative position being wrong, but getting both right is a bonus.
