Will the iPhone 5s run Spotify without lag

RRight now I'm using an iPhone 4 with iOS 7 and it lags on Spotify and I wanted to know if the iPhone 5s will be fine running Spotify because I'm not paying 600 pounds for a brand new iPhone, also is the battery life good on it and would it be better to wait until I can find the iPhone 6 for 220 pounds on eBay or should I spend 200 pounds for the 32gb iPhone 5s

Most iPhones 5 and newer run Spotify just fine. Remember, if you're running a lot of apps at one time, any phone is going to lag.

The iPhone 5s has a great battery - it's lithium-ion and charges in two stages: the top charge that takes it to about 80% battery, and then the deep charge that takes it to 100%.

200 - or even 220 pounds is a lot of money, so it's best to spend your money on what you really want. You can compare newer models here: www.apple.com/iphone/compare

iOS 10 actually has some pretty cool battery-saving features. Of course, any time you upgrade an operating system there will be a short period (usually the first 24 hours or less) where the new OS is sorting out the data and files, getting adjusted to the apps and just getting used to working on that device where the battery will drain much faster than usual.

That fast drain will smooth out and you'll see a lot better performance from the battery after that first day.
