Notes: How Can I See the Creation Date?
Notes application displays modification date at the top of the page.
Anybody figured how to see and display the creation date?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I am not sure about Mac OS X El - Capitan ( open notes and its preferences ) .
But in Mac OS - Sierra , open notes and its preferences you can click on drop down arrows of sort notes by dates created .
Only way I can seem to do this is:
Select the note you wish to get creation date for.
View > Sort Notes By > Date Created
The note will stay highlighted, it's creation date is displayed in the list summary of the note on the left (not displayed in the note itself, that continues to display edited date).
It's clunky but works.
