Q: Charger problem? Or something else?

Hey, I noticed my macbook pro charger doing something peculiar for the past couple days. Well, what happened yesterday was that I was using my computer while it was charging, when suddenly my charger light turned green. At first I thought it was done charging, but when I looked back up, it wasn't near being fully charged. Then suddenly, the light turned back to amber. After that it charged normally and I went to use it. In fact, I left it charging all night and the next morning there were no problems. Then just now, while it was at 97 percent, it turned green, and then suddenly back to amber.

I checked the battery condition and it says normal, and it is only on 524 cycles. The charger is fairly new. I only got it last year. So does anyone think this is a serious problem? Or is it simply the charger?
