iPod

Q: Ipod not syncing/itunes not updating

I have an 120gb ipod classic, but it is not syncing new music on itunes. I have tried to update latest version of itunes, but it isn't updating. Any ideas?

    If the iPod appears in iTunes, click its device button to go to iPod's Summary settings screen.  The screenshot below of upper left corner of my iTunes windows shows iPod's device button, circled in red

    On iPod's Summary settings screen, along left side of window, in the sidebar, under Settings, click Music.  To the right, iPod's Music settings screen appears.  If you want iTunes to automatically sync songs to iPod, checkmark Sync Music checkbox.

     

    NOTE:  Any songs on iPod that are not in your computer's iTunes library will be lost.

     

    This turns ON automatic syncing.  You can choose to sync your Entire music library or a Selected portion of it.  Set up this screen to tell iTunes how to sync songs to iPod.  Then click Apply.  Going forward, iTunes automatically updates iPod with changes to your music library (or selected portion of it), when you connect it (or click Sync if already connected).
