Genius Bar appointment

My iPad is running very slow, I've called apple and they've run diagnostic checks etc and everything fine. Even restored and recovered it as instructed but again no joy so told to make Genius Bar appointment but been trying for the last week and nothing available at all in the two Glasgow stores!! Absolute disgrace and utterly disgusted at Apple - I expected far better!! Any tips out there for getting an elusive appointment?
