Q: iPhone Hotspot Connectivity

If my phone is connected to LTE 4G & WIFI + on hotspot, which connection will the iPhone use for hotspot?

Will the hotspot connection thru 4G or WIFI?

If I connect another phone to hotspot, is my iPhone 4G data being consumed?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.5

    Your iPhone is NOT connected to both LTE 4G & Wi-Fi at the same time. If you are on LTE and then connect to a Wi-Fi network, it will automatically drop LTE and connect to Wi-Fi. If you use your iPhone as a Hotspot for another device, it will use whichever connection you are on, LTE OR Wi-Fi as I described above. And yes, if you connect another phone to your hotspot while on 4G, data will be consumed.
