Q: iPhone 6 - Touch display issues

Hi,

my iPhone got a new display unit like 6 weeks ago in the Apple Store.

After two weeks, the battery was weak and i decided to change it.

When i turn on the iPhone now, it sometimes does not react on the touch screen.

The left side of the display will not catch my input. In fact, the left 2 cm of the display dont work.

After i reboot the phone, it works for like 10 Minutes, then it fails again.

I have tried it with the original battery - it wont work.

iOS is 9.3.5

I have already tried to restore to factory settings - it doesnt help.

Any idea what could be wrong? Is it a case of Touch Disease?

Thanks

Lutz

    Hi Lutz

If you changed the battery yourself (twice), then you may have damaged your iPhone - and it will also no longer be eligible for hardware service by Apple.
