Q: I can't open the i photos or download a new version fro the apple store, how i can recover the app?

No way to know without details - What OS are you running? Why do you need to download iPhoto (there is not new version and has not been one since the products was discontinued  nearly two years ago)?

Does this post help?  Can't Update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store
