I can't open the i photos or download a new version fro the apple store, how i can recover the app?

No way to know without details - What OS are you running? Why do you need to download iPhoto (there is not new version and has not been one since the products was discontinued nearly two years ago)?

Hey! I recently upgraded to el captian. iphoto wouldn't work for me either. HOWEVER I discovered - if search on your mac for "iphoto library," begin the installation, once the installation is complete, all your photos are still there! : ) Hope this helps you. - A
