You will have to describe in more detail your problem.
Please open the trash and select email folder and press command + info , and if you are the administrator , open the lock by entering username and password .
If any important items are there and you don't want to delete drag and drop the files to the desktop .
Now , you can restart , empty the email folder in the trash .
