Q: How to keep current formatting - Pages

When I open up Pages I get a warning about the type of font in the original document being missing. When Pages opens I am happy with the font provided. After modifying and closing the document, when I re-open I get the same err message. How can I save Pages with the font displayed so I no longer get the error?

Thanks

You omit to mention what version of Pages and where you got the document from that you opened.

So how about we just guess at everything?

My guess is that the font is in one of your Styles.

IIt's the latest version of Pages for iOS. Document originally created on Word. In Word or Open Docs etc after opening a file with a warning notice after the file is subsequently saved it retains the new format. Just wondered if there was a quick way to do that in Pages.

Regardless of whether you didn't realize that this is the Pages for Mac community, when you open a Word document with any Pages application, the Word document is translated into the internal Pages document format, and the original Word document remains unchanged. Pages is no Word clone.

Pages requires that every referenced member of the font family found in the Word document, must be installed on OS X, or it will flag it as a warning, and attempt font substitution. Word allows you to create faux font effects such as bold and italic from a regular font face, but Pages is not going to allow that mischief.
