Q: Unmerge our photo streams

I've been trying to set up our home sharing (which still hasn't worked) so all devices now have my AppleID, but now, we all have the same photo stream, contacts, even some text messages. My husband does not want my text messages from my friends. How can we separate everything but the music library? And how can I get the music library to work? I finally got some music to work, but it erased ALL of my playlists. I have a new $3000 iMac and it has died once already. All I know is that I now have pictures of things my husband has had for years, and he has mine...how do these go back to our respective phones? And how does the music sharing library start working because I followed all of the directions on the home sharing support page 4 times. I don't want to go back to the store because I've been there too often lately for the expensive computer that has only worked intermittently. Grrrrr.
