Q: Startup Manager cursor
My macbook hard drive failed. And I have to reinstall OSX . Well I made a bootable USB from a friend's computer and when I turn on the macbook with the option key. It just gives me a my cursor and which I can move around. It's not frozen. Few things I made the bootable usb drive using transmac. Maybe the DMG file got corrupted ? Or it didn't mount it properly.
The Macbook hard drive is completely empty. So there's nothing on it. Any suggestions.? Do I need to install the OSX that it was on before. . Which I do not remember can I just upgrade to the latest software.
It's a macbook pro 2010. 4 GB of ram 500 GB hard drive.
