Looking at completely wiping our current OS X Server ver. 5.0.15 running 10.10.5 and performing a fresh installation/upgrade to 10.11.6 running Server 5.1.7.
I am trying to avoid using a Time Machine backup as my concern would be potentially inheriting issues from our current configuration - so ultimately the preference is for a fresh installation and then manually import/restore Calendar, Contacts, Wiki and users.
Can someone point me in the direction of which files/folders would be required to be backed up and then copied over on to the new installation?
Furthermore, once the files have been copied over on the new machine to their respective directories, would they work with a different (newer) version of OS X Server?
OR
Would it be easier (and likely more successful) if all ~50 users export their calendars and import them once the new server is up and running?
