Q: Mac Display Never Sleeps
My iMac desktop computer never goes to sleep, even though the energy saver settings say it will go to sleep after 15 minutes. Does anyone know what's going on?

A few suggestion LINKS to try:
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
===========
Try this: Change the energy saving options, to put the display to sleep and the computer to sleep at the same time.
Enable (check mark) put the hard disk to sleep when possible. Lock the padlock.
Optional: (If you are NOT using El Capitan) Repair permissions &/or restart.

Double check your Energy Saver settings to make sure they are correct. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1776 Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep or stay in sleep mode
