my speaker won't work when i talk on the phone but when i have my headphones in or have the phone up to my ear people hear me perfectly fine, please help.

My iphone won't work on speakerphone audio and everything else is perfectly fine but when I'm on the phone and put my phone on speaker no one can hear me at all, but when i have the phone up to me ear or have headphones in people can hear me just fine. I don't think it's a software issue my phone is up to date with ios 9.3.5 . Can someone please help me on this issue.

Force restart the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data.

Did you already try to plug the headphones in an out a couple of times?

Does it say "headphones" when you toggle the volume and no headphones attached?

Thank you for replying. I've tried it all and it still hasn't work I think my only choice will be to take it into Apple i can hear everything fine but once I want to get on FaceTime or have someone on speaker phone it's just dead silence I'm not sure what it could be.
