I got a 2016 mac pro two days ago. Why is the screen continually flickering ?

I recently acquired a mac book pro 2016, the newest model two days ago. I have noticed occasional flickering in the screen. Could anyone shed some light as to why that would be happening in a brand new laptop? Could it be a faulty mac that apple sent out to me ?
