Cannot change genre of purchased movie

I bought a movie from the iTunes store (Mad Max: Fury Road) and would like to sort it into Science Fiction and Fantasy on my iTunes system but the genre is pre-chosen as Action. How can I change the genre on a purchased movie? Is this a bug or is there some bizarre reason to have the genre pre-selected?
