This is an iPod nano?  First, try doing a Reset (restart) on iPod, if you have not already.

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support

If that does not help, you can try using command to reset all onboard settings on iPod.  Go to iPod's onboard Settings screen.  The choice at bottom of Settings screen should say Reset Settings (or Reset All Settings).  This puts all onboard settings back to default.

If that does not help, you may want to do a Restore on iPod using iTunes.  This erases iPod, reinstalls its software, and sets it to default settings.  The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary settings screen in iTunes.

Hello, Thank you for your responds. However, none of the above still does not help. Is there any other way to resolve this besides waiting in the long lines in the Apple Store?

Again, I want to confirm you have an iPod nano (this forum category), and not an iOS device like iPod touch.

For an iPod (that is not iPod touch), the "go to" troubleshooting step is doing a Restore using iTunes.  If that does resolve a problem, the cause is likely to be a hardware-related problem.
