I was trying upload pictures from my iPhone to my iMac (USB connected)
I couldn't, the iPhone doesn't appear anymore on iPhoto. Usually, iPhoto was open automatically when my iPhone was connected. Not anymore.
I check iPhoto Prefs. Connecting camera opens iPhoto is chosen.
Any ideas and suggestions how yo fix it ?
iMac (24-inch Early 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
Try opening iPhoto and connecting the iPHone and restarting it while it is connected - if that does not make it show up try again restarting both the Phone and the Mac

Thanks Larry. I found where was the trouble: dirt on my USB cable iPhone connect plug. I clean it and it's working now.
But the strange on that anyway is this cable was working well with others items. Maybe some dirt also in my iPhone plug but I dunno how to clean up myself. 😐
