Q: Lost recovery key and didn't receive sms verification

Hi,

Today I just changed my macbook password. My macbook only have one account. I successfully change the password and the hint (old hint is "nothing", and new hint is "release"). I make sure I type the new password twice correctly and remember it. Then I tried to logout to try my new password.

Unfortunately the password I enter are always wrong. I tried it several times and I am sure I type the password I just set. But it's still failed.

I check the hint, instead of showing my new hint which is "release", it show my old hint which is "nothing". Then I tried my old password but still failed. I also tried to leave it empty, using my icloud password, and my email password but still failed.

I click reset password option using icloud below login password input. I enter my icloud email and password.

I logged in, but since last year I activated two-step-verification. It ask me to enter verification code sms that send to my phone number. But until this time I didn't receive that sms. I check my sms history and I can make sure that I have received sms verification twice in last year. But somehow I can't receive it at this time. I also make sure it's not my cellular provider issue and no sms/phone number has been blocked. Since I can't received verification code, I asked to enter recovery key. I don't know where I put my recovery key, I don't really remember it and can't find it.

Until this point I'm stuck because I can't login to my macbook, can't login to my apple id to reset my password, didn't received sms verification, and lost recovery key. And then another problem appear, I tried too many times to login to my apple id and then it show message "Account Changes Locked. You have made too many attempts to access your account." That's why I'm using new apple id to post this.

I also tried recovery mode. I go to terminal and type "resetpassword", but it didn't show my volume disk. They said it's probably because my fileVault is active. Still in recovery mode, I try to  unlock my volume disk. It ask my password but I still failed enter the password. Strangely it show my new hint which is "release". In login screen, it show my old hint which is "nothing".

I already stuck and don't know what should I do now. I don't want to reset the disk because there is so much work file I haven't backup. I also don't know how to reset it.

I'm so grateful if I can get help or advise ( I tried to call apple care but no response ).

Thanks
