Can't export from external device with Quicktime 10.4 & El Capitan
error message .. 'you don't have permission to save the file "xxxxxx" '
after the process completes.
this is when using the 'export' option to upload file from external device
Sony SLT - A33 camera.
this is how I have always successfully exported my camera data previous to
10.11.6 with no problems what so ever. I have tried reseting the permissions
(home directory/ ACL's) using the terminal commands in recovery mode and
this did nothing.
I need the export function because for some reason opening files that have
been uploaded to my desktop from the camera using the 'save' option in
Photoshop the file is corrupt (green).
PLEASE any help to resolve this !

update: it would appear that if one does not re-size or close the player while
it's processing it will export and save .. *** Apple ? Does functionality not mean
anything to you anymore ?
