Q: an old mail message open every time at startup of my iMac
Since 2 years ago, when switch on my iMac (middle 2010), the mail application open automatically (without the flag in the option menu) and also an old message open up itself without any command.
How can stop this?
(OS X El Capitan 10.11.6)
Thanks.

Check if Mail application is in the list of login items. Open System Preferences - Users & Groups - Login Items. If Mail is in the list, highlight it and click on "-" sign to prevent Mail from open at login.
