Corrupted files: cut/paste photos/videos from Iphone 6S Plus

Dear Community,

I have used cut/paste to move files (movies and photos) from my Iphone 6S Plus to my laptop using the win 10 file explorer. When I checked the moved files, some of them are corrupted: for example - the size is 13.3 GB and size on disk 4.00 KB. I realize that is nothing to recover from these files since the size on disk of a 4K movie is only 4.00 KB, but is there a way to restore the moved files on my iPhone and try to save them again on my laptop?

Appreciate y

The only safe way to do that is described in this article:

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support

If you already deleted the videos on the phone and the "recently deleted" album is empty, the data is lost.

In case you have a recent backup, it might still contain the video data, but if you restore the phone, all other data will be set back to that point in time as well.
