Q: Why can't I use iTunes credit on Apple TV? I had a balance of $13 and tried to rent a movie, but it kept asking for the numbers on the back of my CC.

Why can't I use iTunes credit on Apple TV? I had a balance of $13 and tried to rent a movie, but it kept asking for the numbers on the back of my CC.

How do I set it up so my iTunes credit is used on Apple TV? It works on my Mac, but not Apple TV.

So far as I am aware you can use credit, however you still need to have a credit card on file in order to make a purchase.

It will automatically use any credit available, but as stated it still needs a card on file.
