Q: Stop text/message forwarding

Problem: All texts going to my iPhone are being auto-forwarded/sent to my work cell phone which is an android. I don't know how this happened, other than I had both phones in my purse together with their bluetooth on and NFC turned on, on my work phone. I have checked my messages setting. I have checked my iCloud settings. I cannot figure out what has happened or how to stop the forwards. I'm not even sure if it is a forward but here's a pic including the phone (HTC). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just an update, I tried changing my apple id login but the messages are still coming thru so maybe it's connected to the phone number itself???

    Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding? Anything there?

If not, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, is that work number listed there?

No the other number is not listed under Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. Only my iPhone number is listed.

Contact your carrier. The iPhone is not doing this. The only way to get messages sent to your iPhone forwarded to an android device is if it's being done by your carrier.

While I wouldn't have believed it could forward, I just had to make sure there was no chance of there being some kind of setting that could have gotten messed up. Good luck with T-Mobile.

We'll see what they say, I have to try back after work. I just can't figure out what the heck happened here. I can't find an option on my phone that would even allow ALL/ANY texts to be forwarded. Also my iPhone is T-Mobile and my work phone is AT&T. I'm beginning to wonder if these mega giants aren't fiddling with my phone is some sort of power move

I'm chatting with apple support now and they're getting a senior rep involved. Hopefully someone can figure this out quickly

It will be interesting to see what they say, since normally text message forwarding can only happen with iOS & OS X devices, and that is in Settings as I described earlier. I look forward to hear of the resolution.

T-Mobile says it's not them, Apple says it's not them, I tried changing my iCloud login but still all messages keep forwarding. Performing a factory reset now to see if that works
