i purchased a iphone 5 With a clean imei only to find it is locked to an apple id and i have absolutely no way of finding and contacting owner of apple id i bought this phone at a garage sale

In future, click here and check before buying a secondhand device capable of running iOS 7 or newer; these are all iOS devices except the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, original iPad, and first through fourth generation iPod touches.
