Spilled water on my laptop and it flickered off but now seems ok

Last night I spilled a water bottle (maybe 1/4th of the water bottle spilled out) on my laptop, and all of the water went in the little crack where the screen rotates up and down. About 1 minute after doing that the laptop suddenly shut off. I figured the laptop was fried and I was expecting to need to buy a new one tomorrow, but it turned on today. The first time I booted it, it was on for a few seconds then flickered off again. But now it is staying on.. my question is, is the laptop fine to use now? Will I need to worry about it breaking again? I might take to apple later this week so they can repair anything that got broke during the spill.
